Physical Therapy Telehealth Requests

The throwing population is a very unique subset of patient care requiring a detailed understanding of the demands of sport, position-specifics, and nuances of competition. Therefore, it’s a challenge to find knowledgeable providers who can provide safe and effective care to ensure a successful return to throwing. Telehealth options ensure that you know WHO will be treating you and can be conveniently accomplished at a distance via Zoom platform. Through readytothrow.com, you are guaranteed to work with a licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) with a board certification in sports (SCS) and significant experience with the throwing athlete. Plus, we work outside the confines of insurance limitations and are a cash-pay service.

Benefits of telehealth through Ready to Throw:

  • Accessibility – can access our group of experts from anywhere in the US
  • Convenience – sessions around your schedule
  • Personalized care – PT tailored to your exact needs, never a cookie-cutter approach
  • Safety and comfort – you can stay within the confines of your own space, no need to travel or be around large groups
  • Continuity of care – you are not bound by insurance, neither should your care; you’ll be treated as long as necessary
  • Cost-effective – without the overhead of large hospital systems or having to negotiate with insurance carriers, we can keep the cost of care MUCH lower (often <10-20% of the typical cost!)

All requests for telehealth physical therapy will require a thorough review to ensure that we can meet your needs (if in-person oversight is absolutely warranted, we don’t want to waste your time!) We’ll consult prior to starting services – please include the following information in the form below:

  • Condition/diagnosis
  • Referring physician/provider (if available)
  • Your location
  • Relevant history or injury information
